Since a few weeks our sport has changed like never before in such a short period of time. Due to COVID-19 outbreaks in many countries all competitions were stopped, some even cancelled. Right now, football is mostly played behind closed doors or with serious regulations for a small amount of spectators. Officials and businessmen are proud of themselves for saving the sport and making football a TV-Show. What they saved is their business, nothing more. What’s still in danger is our way of living and loving football, dedicating ourselves to the clubs we follow and the emotions we bring to the stands. We insist in being a part of this sport. A part which you can’t leave out or reduce to a simple sound option or animated fan choreographies during the next Pay TV broadcast.
